Hacking
If puzzle solving and computer programming is your idea of fun, then the Techkriti Hacking Challenge provides you with the ideal playground. With problems relating to different aspects of internet and computer security that would appeal to an enthusiastic beginner as much as it would to a hardened pro, this promises to be a challenge unlike any other. And most importantly, the challenges here are meant for fun and do not encourage or support illegal hacking activities in ANY way!
Details:
- The first round will consist of an encryption algorithm which will be hacked by the participants using DOS in th e stipulated time.
- Participants clearing the first round will be eligible for the second where they will have to hack a file on a secured server.
- The participants will be judged on the basis of the time taken to complete the task.
Rules:
- A maximum of 2 participants are allowed in a team.
- Max time for the first round will be 2 hrs.
- A second round of 2 hrs for the qualifiers will be conducted.
- A preliminary test may be conducted according to the number of entries.
STAAD
Participants have to design a structure using STAAD Pro on the spot with in a limited time period.
Rules:
- There will be two participants in each team.
- The design problem will be given n the spot.
- Verdict given by the judges will be final.
- Time allotted 1 hour.

Autonomous Robots: An event in which the robot has full control and has to compete with others of its species to emerge as the winner... So tighten up their screws and solder their wires... because in the end, this doesn't have anything to do with any weak Robot..
Track Specifications:
The track will consist of a white surface 30 cm in width painted with a black line 3 cm wide in the center. The course will not consist of any obstacles. However, it may contain gentle or sharp corners which may be acute or obtuse but not right angled and there may also be gaps in the track i.e. at the white line, of length not more than 5 cm. The path will consist of different checkpoints which are to be crossed.
The track details will be disclosed at the time of the event.
Robot specification:
The robot dimensions must be no larger than 30 cm X 30 cm X 30 cm. It should have an in-built power supply lower than or equal to 24V. Points are also kept for the design and fabrication of the robot.
Scoring Specifications:
The scoring of the event will take place at various levels.
- Based on the design of the robot
- Based on the checkpoints
- Based on the time taken
Rules:
- The team should comprise of maximum of 3 members.
- Scoring details will be available on the event day.
- Programming facilities will not be available at the event venue.
